Why are the automated emails important?
The automated emails sent from Growing Good are an important part of the customer buying cycle. The customer basket that’s specifically designed for subscription management does not have the same checkout process as a more conventional e-commerce store designed for one off purchases. For example the way orders are confirmed, is not dependent on a customer going through a lengthy checkout process before hitting a ‘confirm’ button.
Order confirmation is based on whether the customer has valid payment and delivery details as well as a valid basket based on the users conversion settings. Emails are then used as prompts to encourage customers to visit the site or confirm their orders with them.
This automation means that no customers are missed due to human error or lack of time from the users. Messages also go out at the right time to ensure engagement from customers.
Not having these emails could lead to increased email traffic - they are designed to reduce your admin burden as they answer common questions before the customer even asks - for example with what is coming in their order - or whether their order has been delivered.
Below is a summary of the key emails sent from the system and why they are important.
