The following data is supplied in customer insights:

  • Top spenders
  • Customers with no payment method and no address
  • New customer metrics
  • Lapsed and Lost customer metrics
  • Abandoned cart data

Using lapsed and lost customer downloads

One of the most powerful things in customer insights is having access to a breakdown of ‘lapsed’ and ‘lost’ customers. These tables are downloadable with customer email addresses and can be used for communicating with customers and checking in to see why they are no longer shopping with you. Lapsed customers - a lapsed customer is someone who has shopped at least 4 times, with a last order date between 1 and 3 months ago. This highlights customers who were regular shoppers but have not recently shopped with you.

Lost customers - a lost customer is someone who has shopped at least once but not for the past 3 months. These are potentially customers who tried your service out, but did not continue.

Launching a win back campaign to reengage lapsed and lost customers.

A Win-back campaign is a series of emails/communications designed to reengage a previous customer.

If somebody hasn’t purchased in three months, for example, a win-back email campaign increases the likelihood of them returning to purchase again—rather than losing them forever. Not all customers will respond to your win-back campaign by visiting your storefront. Often customers who’ve forgotten about your brand need an incentive to revisit your website and purchase again.

You could consider using our discount functionality providing them with a discount code to try shopping again with you. This could be for specific products or for their whole order.

You can utilise email marketing platforms such as mailchimp and brevo to personalise any emails that are sent to the segment of customers.

Reengagement email

A reengagement email is your an designed to win back the lapsed or lost customer. Since these customers haven’t interacted with you in weeks, you can open the door to them by telling them what you have coming up soon in your store and offering them a discount to incentivise them to shop again. We recommend using high quality photographs of produce and the team to add any visuals to go alongside any emails.

Here’s some text you can use for this type of email, do edit the content as you see fit. We’ve highlighted where the content may need changing depending on your setup.
