Reminders

Set a reminder to perform an action tagged against a customer

This new functionality allows you to set and manage task reminders across multiple users of the admin. The new feature, provides options for specifying the task details, due date, and customer association. You can then easily delete task reminders once they are completed or no longer relevant.

Where would this be used?

An example of a tasks you could set reminders could include making a note of when a customer is returning from holiday after a prolonged period. You could set a reminder to get in contact with the customer on their return and to restart their order.

How does this work?

When creating a reminder in the admin it will be attached to a particular customer with a date, time, subject and message. When the reminder time has arrived, a notification pops up in the new notification tab in the menu prompting you to complete the task.

Once the task has taken place you then mark as completed. Which removes it from the notification list.
