Sub baskets

📚
A sub basket is a secondary basket that you can have applied to your storefront basket. This can be used to help manage your offering to your customers. For example if you wanted to offer a ‘pick your own’ option that has a limited range of products available to order. You may want to restrict how those products can be ordered by having them in a sub basket category, preventing them being ordered as an extra with the rest of your product range.
📑
Summary of sub baskets

  • Assign products to either a ‘Standard’ or ‘Sub Basket’.
  • A sub basket is a secondary basket with a different minimum spend requirement.
  • Products in a ‘Sub Basket’ require the sub basket's minimum spend to be met.
  • Note: Contact support to set up sub basket settings before using.
  • To assign a category to the sub basket, click on the basket type field and select ‘Sub Basket’

In a product category you have the option of assigning the product to a ‘Standard’ or ‘Sub Basket’. A sub basket is a secondary basket you can have added to your store front basket. Any products that are in a category that is assigned as a ‘sub basket’, when ordered by the customer will be added to this separate basket and require the minimum spend set on the sub basket to be met.

⚠️
Please note - Contact us to set up your sub basket settings before applying the Sub basket feature to a category.
