There are 2 customer pages in the system that you can view and find customer information.
Customer overview
The customer ‘overview’ page is designed for quick look up of a customer. Using the search to search by their name or email address for example.
The customer overview:
- Shows limited number of customer rows, either 10 or 25 based on the setting you apply
- You can quickly click ‘
view’ to get to customer account without having to change any of the view settings
Customer report The customer report provides a streamlined way to analyse and export customer information while tailoring your view for different reporting needs. This provides more data which you can then export to use for contacting customers or simply for record keeping. It also lists all results in one report which means you can download all customer data in one go.
The customer report:
- Slower to quick look up customer if you are just searching by name/email as columns need adjusting to access the ‘
view’ button
- Used more for filtering and searching on customer attributes for downloading and segmenting customer data
