Setting Up Delivery Rounds
Before you can set up distribution methods (delivery areas and collection points), you'll need to create your delivery rounds. This ensures customers are automatically allocated to the correct round when they order.
What's a delivery round?
Think of it as a van doing a set route — it can include both home deliveries and collection points, grouped together to build an efficient run. You can create multiple rounds per delivery day, and multiple rounds per week.

Steps:
- Go to Settings → Delivery Rounds
- Click New Delivery Round
- Fill in the essential fields:
Field | What it means |
Name | What you'll call the round, e.g. "Thursday Deliveries" |
Delivery day | The day orders reach the customer |
Process day | The day orders are processed for this round (processing runs at 11pm) |
Packing day | The day orders are packed for this round |
Cost | The delivery fee for this round |
Defer fulfilment to next week | Turn on if you want orders processed the week before delivery, on the process day set above |
- Click Create Delivery Round to finish
Optional fields — skip these for now
- Manual Processing: Leave this off. With it off, orders generate automatically — the right choice for most setups. Only switch it on if you plan to manually trigger order generation, and if so, raise it with Martin at your next meeting first.
- Activate Christmas Week Adjustments: Not needed during initial setup. This relates to managing orders over the Christmas period — come back to it when you're planning for Christmas.
