News pages
News/blog pages are where you can create articles which will be added to the news located in the community links in the website footer. Create a new page and select ‘news’. This will create a new blank page similar to the content pages.
Give your newsletter a title and then design the page as you wish. Similar to a content page you have all other content block options for adding to the page.
To add a thumbnail image to the front end of the website click on the ‘options’ tab and then upload an image that you wish to use.
This will appear similar to a card block with an image title and a ‘read news’ link to navigate to the news article as shown below.
Recipe Pages
Recipe pages are much like news pages but with some added options that categorise the recipes so the website user can filter and find different recipes based on Meal type, Dietary type and Season.
To create a recipe select ‘Recipe’ when creating a new page. Which will create a blank page with a banner block at the top.
Then add the content for your recipe to the page using the content blocks available. Below is a good example of a recipe page. With a picture of the recipe in the banner with the title, a combination of text blocks and additional images at the bottom.
Click on ‘options’ to reveal the attributes that you can tag the recipe with. These appear on the front end of the website as shown below.
You can then alter all of these attributes with the appropriate options as shown below.
