📑
Summary of this guide:

Managing Sales Conversion Rules

Go to Settings > Sales to create or edit rules that control when customers can place orders.

  • Add a rule: Click "Add new rule".
  • Edit/delete: Use the pencil or trash icons next to existing rules.

Rule Options

  • Minimum spend: Set a minimum basket total required to complete an order.
  • Requires veg box: Only allow orders with a veg box in the basket.

Rules can apply to delivery, collection, or both. You can also combine rules for more flexibility—for example, require either a veg box or a minimum spend to place an order.

Sales conversion rule options

When adding a new rule you are provided with the following options: Minimum spend - This is a blanket amount across the whole of the customers basket that must be met before the order can be confirmed. This can be used as a rule exclusively or in combination with the ‘requires veg box subscription’ rule.

Requires veg box subscription - This rule requires the customer to have a veg box product in their basket before the order can be confirmed. You can then select whether the rule is applied to delivery or collection or both. For example, if you wanted to avoid a min spend for collection orders you can untick the ‘apply rule on collection points

💡
You can apply just one rule or a combination of both options. For example if both options are used - it would be that the customer must have a veg box in their basket or spend a certain amount. This gives you flexibility over your offering and prevents missing out on high value orders made up of individual items rather than a veg box.
