Door step item functionality

 

We are excited to launch our new ‘Doorstep items’ functionality. This enables you to easily handle and manage any products that will be packed on delivery separately to other products. This new feature includes the following:

  • Enabling ‘doorstep items’ on a system wide level
  • Enabling the products you want to be packed on delivery as ‘doorstep items’.
  • Hides doorstep items from packing screens
  • Driver app advancements summarising doorstep items and boxed items separately. Doorstep items show at the top for easy access.
  • Doorstep items shown in exportable fulfilment data.

Favicons You can now upload an additional ‘Favicon’ logo to your admin. A favicon is small icon, that appears next to a website's URL in a browser's address bar, on tabs, and in bookmarks, helping users quickly identify and distinguish websites. This is important for customer trust and for enabling consistent branding online. You can upload the Favicon logo from within your ‘Theme’ settings under ‘General’.

A Favicon will not be uploaded for you by default so you should actively update this in your admin as soon as possible. A GG logo will appear if the favicon file is left empty. High value swaps refunding

 

This update makes it possible to now refund ‘high value swaps’ on a customers order. This means that if a veg box product is cancelled with the customer paying extra on top for a high value swap - the swap amount is now included in the refundable amount. It further means when removing a ‘high value swap’ from the box contents for a customer - you can refund just the amount for the swap.

 

Holiday bookings prevented whilst delivery round is processing

Previously there was a small window where customers could book a holiday for the same date as an order if the delivery round is still processing. This occurs because the system only updates to the next week once all orders have been generated. To prevent this issue, we have introduced a delivery round lock now preventing any holiday bookings being made for that week whilst the orders are processing.

 

Product SKU reporting

Further to our product SKU field that was implemented recently - we have now built some complimentary reporting. You can now see the SKU data in the following areas:

  • ’Products’ page
  • Live baskets - portions
  • Live baskets - customers
  • Fulfilment overview
  • Exportable packing data (Sheets, Summary and Labels)
 

VAT default state on product

 

When creating a new product the default state for VAT on a product was toggled ‘on’. The default is now toggled ‘off’, as the majority of products on the platform won’t have VAT applied.

 

Fix applied to grouped products "from" quantity displaying in the store

Previously some ‘Grouped products’ were displaying an empty value field on the product block. A fix has been applied so the product amount is now showing correctly on the product block in the storefront.
